Solar Storms, Grounding, and Staying Open

Dear Reader,

I've been feeling the collective weight, just as I'm sure you have. It's taking real, deliberate practice for me to maintain the courage to stay open-hearted right now.

On top of everything, the massive solar storms have been impacting the Earth's magnetic field; and that's impacting your heart. It's no wonder if you've felt scattered, agitated, or just plain “off.” When the ground beneath us feels this unstable (energetically and literally), the natural impulse is to shut down.

I want to help us do the opposite.

Invitation: Join Me Live for Sunday's Heartstream

Our weekly “Heartstream” Live session tomorrow is intentionally designed to address this intensity. We will turn toward the overwhelm and share practices for centering, grounding, and protection.

Tomorrow’s Focus: Dealing with Spiritual Overwhelm and the Path to Protection

I will be going deeper into the theme of keeping your heart open when the world feels like it’s falling apart. I will share my own way of dealing with intense emotional energy and feature a special preview of my NEW guided meditation, 'Protected by the Sacred Heart when the world feels broken.'

  • When: Sunday, October 19th at 8:00 AM Pacific / 11:00 AM Eastern
  • Where: Live on my YouTube Channel (@GabrielGonsalves)

During a recent Heart Mastery Circle session, I posed a provocative question to my students: “All suffering is self-created—true or false?” The room went quiet. Then came the responses. Half said true. Half said false. So I asked a second question: “For those of you who said true—or even partially true—what percentage of your suffering do you think you actually create?” “Thirty percent,” one participant offered. ”Forty percent,” said another. ”Eighty percent.” Each number was right. And each...

Dear Reader, This week, I'm sharing a photo from the Albaicín — Granada's ancient Arab quarters, with my dear friends Mary and Stephen, who visited recently. Behind us, the Alhambra glows in the afternoon light. Having them here reminded me how blessed I am to live in such a beautiful place and to share it with people I love. Walking these narrow streets where Moorish and Christian histories intertwine, I found myself reconnecting with my Catholic upbringing in unexpected ways. Here in Spain,...

Have you ever felt drawn to something you couldn’t fully understand? A symbol that calls to you from somewhere deep inside, even when your mind can’t grasp why? For me, the Sacred Heart has been exactly that kind of mystery—a flaming heart, pierced and burning with transformative fire, that continues to touch souls and catalyze healing. The Sacred Heart isn’t just religious iconography. It’s a portal to direct experience of divine love, validated by both ancient mysticism and modern...
